lily - love through a prism

I started making this hairpin just because of this beautiful anime called  "Love Through a Prism". i am not sure what i felt at that time but I kept thinking about how badly I wanted to turn that feeling into a piece for the shop. Somehow this design ended up taking me forever to finish, but weirdly… I never got tired of working on it.

While making it, I kept adding tiny details here and there, the pearls, the silver touches, the dangling charms and every time I added something new, it made the piece feel softer and prettier. I think this hairpin reminded me why I enjoy making things by hand so much in the first place.

It feels delicate, shiny, a little dreamy, and honestly one of my favourite designs I’ve made.

Please note - this piece is slightly on the heavier side because of all the details and charms added to it. If you have very fine or delicate hair, you may need to use a fake/base ponytail underneath for the hairpin to hold more comfortably.
